When You’re Doing Everything Right But Still Feel Exhausted
You’re eating well.
You’re trying to stay active.
You’re doing your best to manage stress.
And yet, you still wake up tired.
You lose your train of thought in the middle of conversations. You find yourself searching for words you used to access effortlessly. The scale keeps creeping upward despite your efforts. Your moods feel less predictable. Your sleep isn’t as restorative as it once was.
If you’re a woman in midlife living with autoimmune symptoms, you may have wondered if this is simply what getting older feels like.
I don’t believe it is.
I believe your body is trying to tell you something.
And I believe you deserve someone who will take the time to listen.
That’s why I created The Rooted Vitality Method—a four-month coaching program designed to help women with autoimmune conditions uncover the root causes of their symptoms, understand what their bodies are communicating, and build a strong foundation for lasting health and vitality.
But before I tell you about the program, I want to share why this work matters so deeply to me.
My Journey From Frustrated Patient to Practitioner
Today, I’m a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, an AIP Coach, and a certified Business and Life Coach.
I’ve spent years studying how different systems within the body interact and how symptoms that appear unrelated are usually connected through underlying imbalances.
But long before I earned those certifications, I was a woman desperately searching for answers.
I live with Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune condition that affected my energy, my focus, and my overall quality of life. Like many women, I worked hard to improve my health and eventually reached a place where I felt I had things reasonably well managed.
Then, perimenopause entered the picture.
Symptoms I thought were behind me began to resurface. Other autoimmune symptoms intensified. New symptoms appeared that didn’t seem to fit together. I felt confused, frustrated, and uncertain about what was happening inside my body.
What made the experience even more challenging was the lack of clear answers.
I knew something had changed, but I struggled to find an explanation that looked at the whole picture.
Eventually, I found a practitioner who took a functional approach which combined thorough testing with personalized, multi-faceted support. For the first time, I began to understand why my symptoms had worsened and what factors were contributing to my health challenges.
That experience transformed my life.
More importantly, it taught me that true healing isn’t built on quick fixes. It’s built on understanding the root causes (yes, plural, there is never only one root cause) of symptoms and creating habits that support long-term well-being.
That lesson became the foundation of The Rooted Vitality Method.

The Moment Everything Became Clear
At the time, I was working part-time as a nanny for a college friend’s son while exploring what I wanted my next chapter to look like professionally.
As I brainstormed different possibilities, I kept returning to my own health journey.
Around the same time, I noticed a pattern.
Friends, colleagues, and women I encountered online were describing many of the same struggles I had experienced:
- Brain fog
- Exhaustion
- Weight loss resistance
- Poor sleep
- Mood changes
- Autoimmune flare-ups that seemed to come out of nowhere
Many of them felt overwhelmed by conflicting information.
Many felt dismissed.
Many were trying everything they could think of without understanding why they weren’t seeing results.
Then one day, the realization hit me.
The help I had needed was the help I wanted to provide.
I knew firsthand how isolating it could feel when your body seemed to be working against you. I knew how exhausting it was to sort through endless advice while still feeling unwell. And I knew how powerful it was to finally uncover the deeper reasons behind those symptoms.
At that moment, I knew this work was important.
The Rooted Vitality Method was born from that realization.
Why Women Need More Than Generic Advice
One of the biggest lessons I learned during my own journey is that healing requires more than information.
Most women I work with are already highly motivated.
They’ve read the books.
They’ve listened to the podcasts.
They’ve spent countless hours researching symptoms and trying new approaches.
What they’re missing isn’t effort.
They’re missing clarity.
They’re missing someone willing to slow down, listen carefully, and investigate thoroughly.
They’re missing someone who can help them connect the dots.
Most of all, they’re missing support.
Because when you’re exhausted, discouraged, and questioning your own body, having a knowledgeable guide can make all the difference.
I believe women need someone who will look beyond individual symptoms and help them understand the story their body is telling.
What Makes The Rooted Vitality Method Different
The Rooted Vitality Method begins with one of its most valuable components: a comprehensive functional assessment using five different tests.
Rather than relying on guesswork, these tests help us gather meaningful information about what’s happening beneath the surface.
Four of the tests can be completed from home using stool, urine, dried blood spot, and saliva samples. The fifth test involves a blood draw completed through a local phlebotomist.
I guide clients through every step of the process.
Once results are available, we review them together and create a complete picture of their health.
From there, we develop a personalized plan based on their unique needs, symptoms, and goals.
The program includes:
- Five functional tests
- Comprehensive review of all results
- A personalized wellness plan
- One-on-one coaching
- AIP support when appropriate
- Ongoing messaging access
- Encouragement and accountability throughout the process
Because healing isn’t just about receiving information.
It’s about having someone walk alongside you to help you implement change in a manageable and sustainable way.
It’s about improving health through understanding what’s really happening in your body rather than relying on guesswork.
The Combination That Shapes My Approach
There are many practitioners with certifications.
There are many people with personal health stories.
What makes my approach unique is the combination of both.
As a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, AIP Coach, and Business and Life Coach, I bring professional training and a systems-based perspective.
As a woman living with Hashimoto’s who experienced the challenges of perimenopause firsthand, I also understand the emotional side of this journey.
I know what it’s like to wonder why your body suddenly feels different.
I know what it’s like to feel discouraged when symptoms return.
I know what it’s like to search for answers and feel like nobody is seeing the complete picture.
Because I’ve been there myself, I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported.
Compassion isn’t an extra feature of my work.
It’s part of the foundation.
I want every client to feel safe asking questions, sharing concerns, and celebrating progress along the way. Whether we’re reviewing test results, discussing food choices, or working through a setback, my goal is to ensure you never feel like you’re navigating this journey alone.
The Results That Matter Most
The transformations I see aren’t just reflected in lab results.
They’re reflected in daily life.
Clients often experience:
- More energy throughout the day
- Better focus and mental clarity
- Improved sleep
- More balanced moods
- Fewer and less intense autoimmune flares
- Greater confidence in understanding their bodies
- Feeling better equipped for meal planning and food choices
- A stronger relationship with their health
Most importantly, they stop fighting their bodies.
Instead, they begin appreciating what their bodies are doing and working with them rather than against them.
They feel more rooted in confidence about their health and more capable of supporting their bodies for the long term.
What Clients Are Saying
Some of the feedback I’ve received includes:
- “After many years, my clothes are getting looser.”
- “I’m sleeping better.”
- “I have more energy than I have had in years.”
- “Nobody ever put all of these dots together for me.”
- “My brain feels like it’s working again.”
- “My mood is more stable.”
To me, these comments represent something bigger than symptom improvement.
They represent hope.
They represent understanding.
They represent women finally feeling seen.
My Vision for the Future
I believe women in midlife with autoimmune conditions deserve better.
They deserve practitioners who take the time to hear the full story.
They deserve a thorough investigation into what their bodies are trying to communicate.
They deserve support from someone who understands both the science and the lived experience.
I want women to stop accepting exhaustion, brain fog, poor sleep, mood changes, and worsening autoimmune symptoms as an unavoidable part of midlife.
I want more women to have access to practitioners who listen carefully, investigate thoughtfully, and treat them as whole people rather than a collection of disconnected symptoms.
Most of all, I want women to trust their bodies again.
Because when a woman understands her body and has the right support, everything changes.
She shows up differently for her family.
She shows up differently for her career.
She shows up differently for herself.
The Rooted Vitality Method is my contribution to that future—a process that helps women move beyond symptom management and create health that is grounded in understanding, nourishment, and sustainable habits.
